WILL BE HELD: 3 PM TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2018
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL
INTERMENT: COY METHODIST CEMETERY
VISITATION: 12 PM TUESDAY TIL SERVICE TIME
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL FUNERAL SERVICE;

Funeral services for Ms. Estelle Marion McDonald Mayo of Preston will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in Coy Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 12 PM til time for service at 3 PM at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.
Estelle Marion McDonald Mayo, 88, passed away Sunday morning February 25, 2018 at Rush Foundation Hospital. Estelle was born and raised in Coy Community, later moving to Pascagoula, MS where she worked as a bookkeeper then moved back to Coy Community to live out her retirement years. She was also known as the community babysitter for the first few years after she moved back which was something she truly enjoyed.
Estelle enjoyed reading, singing gospel songs, getting her hair done on Fridays and spending time with her family every chance she got.
She is survived by her son Jack (Melissa) Mayo, brother Hansel (Bonnie) McDonald, 6 grandchildren; Julie (David)Murray, Kyle, Evan, Gage, Kharlee and Wyatt Mayo; 3 great-grandchildren Madison and Carson Murray and Skylin Mayo and companion William Tucker that has been faithfully by her side through her sickness and passing.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Mayo, daughter Teresa (Jim) Wadiak, parents Walter and Madie McDonald and 4 siblings; Willard, Adale, Marcelle and Reggie.
