Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Lee Tanner will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, LA. Burial at 12:30 in Port Hudson National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation beginning at 10 AM Wednesday til service time. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Tanner, 67, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence in Neshoba County. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and an electrician. Hobbies include woodworking and working on cars. Member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph M. Tanner.
Survivors: Wife, Betty Tanner of Philadelphia; Daughter, Angela Michelle Tanner of Austin, TX; Mother, Evelyn Mayo; Sisters, Debra Maggio and Sherie Pourciav; Brothers, Keith Tanner, Mike Tanner and Russell Tanner, all of Baton Rouge, LA; (1) Grandchild; Several nieces and nephews.
