FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. RUBY STEPHENS
WILL BE HELD: 2 PM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2018
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL
INTERMENT: SPRINGHILL CEMETERY
VISITATION: 5-8 PM SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2018
AT: JOHN E. STEPHENS CHAPEL FUNERAL SERVICES;

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Stephens will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 26, 2018 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Mike Carr and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 and 8 AM – til time for service Monday, February 26, 2018 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.
Mrs. Stephens, 87, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She married the love of her life, Claudie Stephens, June 19, 1948 and they lived in Springhill Community. She worked at Decatur Shirt Factory, Weyerhaeuser and then was a stay-at-home mom,raising her children and grandchildren. Working in her flowerbeds and cooking for her family were her favorite hobbies. Mrs. Stephens was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Preceded in death: Parents, Arnold Wells and Bessie Perkins Wells; Husband, Claudie Stephens (12/15/2017); Sisters, Joyce Sharp, Rachel Saxon and Mary Collins; Brothers, James Wells, Johnny Wells and Larry Wells; Son, Randy Stephens; Grandson, Brad Hill; Great-Grandson, Hugh Lee Johnson; Son-in-Law, William Hill; Daughter-in-Law, Delnita Stephens.
Survivors: Daughters, Judy Hill, Terri Fry and her husband, Glen; Sons, Mike Stephens and his wife, Nancy, Roger Stephens and his wife, Judy and Bill Stephens and his wife, Donita; Daughter-in-law, Jan Stephens Tullos and her husband, Tony; Brother, Kenneth Wells all of Philadelphia; (14) Grandchildren, (29) Great-Grandchildren and (9) Great-Great-Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Josh Fry, Brian Stephens, Zach Stephens, Josh Baysinger, Gus Johnson, Trent Myers, Daniel Sharp and Anthony Steele.
